Current Directorships & Advisory Assignments
Butterfield & Vallis (; Hamilton, Bermuda): I am a director of Butterfield & Vallis, which is the largest food distribution company in Bermuda. Through my relationship with George & Jim Butterfield, I assisted the company in completing and integrating two major acquisitions in 1991 and 1998, and was elected a director in 2000. The company has enjoyed substantial growth over the years, and in addition to its commercial success, has been recognized as one of the top employers on the island, and is also one of the most philanthropic. The Company is led by Jim Butterfield who followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Jim’s son, Spencer, is COO and will eventually become the fourth generation family CEO.
Hamilton Warehouse Company (Hamilton, Bermuda): I am a director of the Hamilton Warehouse Company, a real estate company which is associated with Butterfield & Vallis.

Project Rhodes: (New York, NY): I am working on an M&A project with two entrepreneurs on “Project Rhodes” – assisting them in selling their well-established travel business after building the business for several decades. Dolphin Power & Infrastructure: (www.dolphinpowerandinfra.com; Toronto, ON): I am working with an entrepreneur who is raising $15 million to start an infrastructure investment company focused on aggregating small assets in hydro, wind and transmission utilities in gas and electricity. If we are successful in raising the capital required to close, I will be an investor and director of the business. The entrepreneur is a very capable individual I have known for over 10 years who I am sure will make it a success.
